Installed a Jardine on the wife's Savage and it should be rejetted but it will still "pop" when decelerating. It is a much better sound but that is if you like louder pipes.
Punching out the stock exhaust with a bar straight throught the end works the best to punch it out. It will help a little and yet isn't necessary to rejet.
